We recommend consulting a veterinarian first to understand the proper method for administering the medication and the injection procedure, based on your cat’s specific condition.
If the recommended method is not used, the following are common usage guidelines for GS-441524 injection:
1. Dosage Instructions:
- For dry and wet FIP:
Administer 0.4-0.6 ml per kg body weight via subcutaneous injection once daily. - For ocular and neurological FIP:
Administer 0.8-1.0 ml per kg body weight via subcutaneous injection once daily.
2. Injection Duration:
- Standard Treatment Duration:
Continue injections for 84 days. - Minimum Duration:
Continue injections for at least 8 weeks.
3. End of Treatment Criteria:
Treatment can be completed when the following criteria are met, based on veterinary checkups:
- Biochemical values return to normal.
- SAA levels are normalized.
- Pleural and abdominal effusion has resolved completely.
- Lymphocyte percentage exceeds 35%.
Once these indicators are achieved, the cat is considered to have successfully recovered from FIP.
